Well, I'm gonna have to say I have the most horrible hunter for a turtle living in my house. On monday, we got her a feeder fish. I got a wily little bugger so Loki (Our red-eared slider) would have a good excersize while trying to catch it...

It is now Saturday. And the damn goldfish is STILL in the tank. I've given her plenty of chances, even flushing the fish out from under the rocks. Then I took the rocks apart so there was nowhere for the thing to hide.

Nope... still couldn't catch it.

So... finally I had to catch the damn thing myself and literally hand-feed it to her...

Then she opened her mouth to get a better grip and the thing swam away one more time.

Instead of chasing the thing, she waded over to the water heater, stuck her arm and head on top and proceeded to have a nap. Laziest. Damn. turtle. EVER!

Then I gave her the fish, and she finally ate it...

I own a dumb turtle XD She would die on her own in the wild.
